OUR STORY

From humble beginnings as family-run businesses to one of Australasia’s largest building materials manufacturers.

Many of our brands began as family-run businesses, shaped by hard work, craftsmanship and long-standing customer relationships, with origins dating back to 1942.

Today, those foundations underpin a group that has grown into one of Australasia’s most successful building products manufacturers.

VENTORA LOGO

JELD-WEN’S NAME CHANGE TO VENTORA

In 2023, JELD-WEN Australasia became VENTORA. While our name has changed, our focus has not. Our iconic brands — Corinthian, Stegbar, Breezway, Trend, A&L, Regency and Aneeta — remain exactly as customers and partners know them. We continue to operate as usual, delivering the quality products, trusted expertise and service standards we’re known for.

SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY

Caring for people and the planet is embedded in how we design our products, run our operations and work with our partners. We take our environmental and social responsibilities seriously and believe in giving back to the communities in which we live and work.

Across our business, we support a range of not-for-profit organisations and community initiatives, including The Smith Family’s Toy and Book Appeal, the Salvation Army Food and Gift Drive, and Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea.

NOTHING TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER SAFETY

Our values guide everything we do. We choose to do what’s right; not because we have to, but because it matters. That’s why we go beyond minimum legal requirements, holding ourselves to higher standards that protect the environment and safeguard the health, safety and wellbeing of our people, partners, visitors and the communities in which we operate.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

We have a long-standing culture of improvement that drives innovation across the products we create, the materials we use, and the manufacturing tools and processes we rely on.

By challenging ourselves to do better every day, we lift performance across safety, service, quality and productivity. It’s how we move from good to great.

This mindset underpins how we plan, strategise and solve problems across our business, and it applies equally to corporate and plant-based roles.
